Our lace hoods bring a refined, romantic touch to any event. Made from soft, high‑quality lace, each hood adds a subtle sparkle that elevates ordinary chairs into a cohesive, stylish statement.
Designed to suit standard banquet chairs, Chiavari chairs and most other event seating up to 45 cm (18 in) seat width, they slip on easily and stay secure throughout the occasion.
Choose from a curated palette of classic shades – ivory, ivory‑cream and soft white – to match your décor theme. Our team can advise on the best colour to complement your overall palette.
Hire price is £1.25 per hood. You can select either courier delivery (arrives 1‑3 working days before the event, default 2 days) or our in‑house team (delivered the day before or on the event day for venues within 160 miles of Lincoln). Collection follows the next working day after the event, with an extra day for Monday‑Thursday events when using courier. This window comfortably covers a full weekend of celebrations.
Both delivery options include collection – you won’t need to return the hoods yourself.
All hoods arrive freshly laundered and pressed; laundering is included in the hire price. Food and drink stains, including red wine, are removed at no extra cost. If a hood suffers damage that cannot be repaired or cleaned (e.g., burns, ink, tears) or is missing, we will contact you with a fair cost for repair or like‑for‑like replacement. Normal wear and tear is never charged.
We do not take a security deposit. A 25 % booking instalment secures your date, with the balance due six weeks before the event (or in full if booked within six weeks).
Our lace hoods are cut to fit standard banquet, Chiavari and most other event chairs up to 18 in (45 cm) seat width.
Yes, they are offered in a range of classic colours such as ivory, ivory‑cream and soft white to complement any décor.
We recommend ordering one hood per guest and adding a small extra (5‑10 %) to cover any last‑minute changes or accidental loss.
The hire period runs from delivery (1‑3 working days before your event for courier, or the day before for team delivery) until collection the next working day after the event; you may keep them for the entire weekend if your event spans multiple days.
Both courier and our in‑house delivery team will drop the hoods off and collect them after the event – no return trips required.
Confirm that the venue allows temporary chair coverings and that the chairs are standard dimensions; also check any fire‑safety or height restrictions.
